Hill California Chardonnay/Viognier 2004/6
76% Chardonnay with 24% Viognier from fruit grown in Monterey, San Luis Obispo,
Napa and Trinity counties. This is a very attractive bright clean wine with an
engaging aroma of pears and apples underpinned by the floral, aromatic spiciness
of the Viognier. There is a hint of oak from a proportion of the wine being given
up to 6 months, but you just can’t help but be won over by the sheer vivacity
of this engaging wine.
