Pricing
All prices quoted are in British Pounds Sterling
(GBP) inclusive of VAT at the current rate. Prices do not
include cost of delivery. If, by
mistake, we have under-priced an item, we will not be liable
to supply that item to you at the stated price, provided
that we notify you before we despatch the item concerned.
Ordering
Orders may be placed in the following ways:
Online - Use the 'add to basket' buttons
and follow the shopping basket instructions to supply your
delivery and payment details. Credit card details are collected
using an SSL secure server, but if you prefer, check 'Payment
by telephone' in the payments options, and we will contact
you to collect your card details when your order is ready
for despatch.

We will confirm receipt of your order and advise on total
cost and likely timescale for delivery.
Delivery
Merseyside Area
Delivery is free in the Merseyside area on orders of £100
and over. Orders under £100 are charged at £5.00
per consignment. Subject to availability,
orders will usually be delivered within 5 working days.
There is no minimum order quantity.
UK Mainland
Delivery is free on the UK mainland for orders of £200
and over. Orders under £200 are charged at £10.00
per consignment. Subject to availability
orders are sent on a next day delivery service via courier.
There is no minimum order quantity, but orders of less than
5 bottles will require special packaging which will incur
the following extra charge:-
One bottle postage pack - £2.75
Two bottle postage pack - £4.25
Three bottle postage pack - £5.00
(Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Highlands and
Islands of Scotland may take longer and be subject to a
surcharge.)
All goods must be signed for on delivery by an adult aged
18 years or over. If no one of that age is at the address
when the delivery is attempted, the goods may be retained
by the driver. In these circumstances, if we have to return
to deliver the goods, a further delivery charge may become
payable.
We do our best to secure delivery of your order within the
stated timeframe, but shall not be liable for loss occasioned
by delay in delivery arising out of any cause beyond our
control.

Availability
If, for any reason, we are unable to supply a particular
item, we will notify you as soon as possible. If your order
is required before a specific date, we strongly recommend
that you contact us directly to check on availability and
ascertain a timeframe for delivery.
Wine, by it's very nature, is a finite product and whilst
we make every effort to ensure that the advertised vintage
is the one that we deliver, we cannot guarantee which vintage
will be shipped to you. (Where the vagaries of vintage might
be of greater influence on the wine, i.e. for fine wines,
we will notify you of any vintage change as soon as possible.)

Acceptance
There will be no contract
of any kind between you and us unless and until we actually
despatch the goods to you. Your order is an offer to buy
from us. Nothing that we do or say will amount to any acceptance
of that offer until we actually despatch the goods
to you. At any point up until then, we may decline to supply
the goods to you without giving any reason.
We cannot sell alcoholic products to anyone under
18. For this reason, we may refuse an order at our discretion
and orders may not be transferred from the customer to any
other person.

Payment
We accept VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, Electron,
Solo, cheques (allowing time to clear) and cash(!).
PLEASE NOTE: YOUR CARD WILL NOT BE DEBITED UNTIL ALL THE
GOODS ORDERED ARE IN STOCK, ALLOCATED AND READY FOR DESPATCH.
