Not a ‘tangy’ oaky Rioja in the traditional mould with the emphasis
being more on barrique fermentation as opposed to maturation which gives the wine
a warming, toasty flavour. This is 100% Viura exclusively from the Bodegas own
vineyards, which, unusually for Rioja is fermented exclusively in new French oak
from Alliers and Nevers. This is a wonderfully rich, rounded and complex wine.
