50ha of vineyards in and around Villabuena provide sufficient, high-quality fruit
(predominantly Tempranillo for all of Juan-Pablo’s requirements. This beautifully
mellow Reserva is 90% Tempranillo and 10% Graciano that has been matured for 24
months in a combination of French and American oak. The ’01 vintage is rightly
feted as on of the best vintages of recent times in la Rioja.
