This excellent ‘CDR’ punches well above its weight and has been upgraded to Côtes du Rhône-Villages from the ’04 vintage amazingly, with no price increase! It has good depth of colour with a peppery, Grenache dominated nose and plenty of spicy character. It is a surprisingly big, rich mouthful with good weight of fruit and plenty of warming, spicy fruitcake richness with peppery Grenache featuring strongly on the finish.
