Expect to see considerably more wines from this part of France as improvements
in quality and levels of innovation have been exceptional. Rimauresq is one of
the larger and more historic estates here with its 46ha planted to Mourvèdre,
Grenache and Carignan. This is a beautifully balanced red with a lovely, leafy,
herbal aroma with hints of tobacco. The palate is surprisingly soft and fruit-forward
although there is firm tannin with good length.
