Brut ‘Taché’ 2004
As with the Brut, this is a blend of Chardonnay with Pinots Noir and Meunier that
has been matured for 18 months, but the ‘Taché’ (French for stained) is given
its delicate pink hue by the addition of a small quantity of red wine. This clean
and elegant wine with its alluring colour, abundant fruit and mouth filling flavour
is set to become very popular as it stacks up against many rosé Champagnes particularly
well.
