Señorio de Sarría
‘Viñedo Sotés’ Navarra 2004
The vines for the Viñedos range average 60 years of age and are grown bush style
so they have to be ‘hand harvested’. I am not usually a fan of wines featuring
multiple grape varieties, but Sotés, featuring Cabernet, Merlot, Garnacha, Graciano,
Mazuelo and Tempranillo is so eminently drinkable and masks its 14.5% so well
that it is impossible not to rate this as superb value for money and it is certainly
a bottle that we take home on a regular basis.
