Sarría is the most impressive Bodega in Navarra (if not Spain) with some 210ha
of prime vineyards within the 1500ha estate. This single vineyard offering from
very old bush vines exemplifies the revitalisation of the estate which has secured
the services of Jésus Lezaun - one of the most respected winemakers in Navarra
- since the 2001 vintage. The wine is elegant and refined with intense, dark cherry
fruit and a substantial grip; this winning a gold medal winner at the 2006 International
Wine Challenge came as no surprise to us.
