Catalina Sounds Marlborough
Sauvignon Blanc 2006
A welcome re-union with former Isabel Estate winemaker Ant Moore; Catalina Sounds
is his new project and given that this is only his second vintage, the initial
signs are extremely encouraging. 8% of the wine was barrel fermented in French
oak and some 70% was subjected to an extended period on the lees with a degree
of bātonnage to allow the full spectrum of flavours and complexity to develop.
