is so highly regarded by the like of Jancis Robinson,
Hugh Johnson et al. Cairnbrae is an increasingly respected
estate that started out just growing grapes in 1980,
but took the decision to go it alone in 1992. Cairnbrae
has been owned by Sacred Hill of Hawkes Bay since
2001; they have proved to be a most responsible ‘parent’.
