La Zerba ‘Terrarossa’

Classy, Cortese based white from the lesser known Gavi commune of Tassarolo which
is home to Azienda Vitivinicola La Zerba whose ‘Terrarossa’ vineyard has yielded
this outstanding dry white. La Zerba is a family operation with some 8½ha of southeast
facing vineyards at an altitude of 300 metres, which completely surround the winery.
Although not officially organic, La Zerba is increasingly working to these principles.
The winery is quite modern with good temperature control to help retain the fresh
but delicate aroma of the Cortese grape.
