‘La Casada’ Pinot Grigio IGT Veneto 2006
Pinot Grigio is ‘flavour of the month’ essentially because it is not too weighty
and is very food friendly making it the preferred lunch-time tipple for many.
This is typically light with a delicately honeyed, floral aroma, a dry yet soft
palate that is surprisingly full and rounded. This example is produced by the
large and highly dependable Botter at their base in the Veneto region in the north-east
- one of the preferred regions for this grape in Italy.
