Established by two sisters in the Baroque town of Lecce on the Adriatic coast
of Puglia, Vallone is a highly regarded producer whose appassimento styled ‘Graticciaia’
in particular enjoys an international following. We do carry Graticciaia (when
we can get it) but particularly enjoy this blend of Negroamaro, Malvasia Nera
and Montepulciano from Alberello trained vines on high-ish altitude vineyards
outside of the town of Brindisi.
