Montresor Valpolicella Classico 2006
A well-made red predominantly from Corvina with some
Molinara and Rondinella that is definitely a cut above
a lot of what is produced in this well-known region
of the Veneto. Valpolicella, much like its white sibling,
Soave, has spawned a good many wines of dubious quality,
however this shows a vibrancy of fruit and acidity
with good weight and depth that drinks extremely well;
a ‘must-try’ wine for those that prefer lighter red
wines. |
