Bolla
Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 2004
The Bolla winery was established in the Soave district
of the Veneto in 1883 and theirs was the first Amarone
to be bottled and marketed in the domestic market,
as surprisingly recently as 1950. Predominantly of
Corvina, with the remaining 25% given to Rondinella
and Molinara, all of which are grown on 1m trellises
in dedicated vineyards within the Valpolicella DOC
which enjoy the best aspect, microclimate and soil
type. From these vines, only the most suitable bunches
are selected, these being on the outside, having enjoyed
more exposure to sunshine. . |
