Gorla, the driving force behind the highly acclaimed Academia dei Racemi In Manduria
- now firmly established as the best district of Puglia for growing the Primitivo
grape. Gregorio is particularly passionate about wine and food, and especially
his beloved Primitivo - widely believed to be related to California’s Zinfandel
and this stylish, brawny wine with pronounced raisin-like finish certainly shares
a surprising amount of similarities. This is undoubtedly one of our favourites.
