This delicious Viognier is much cleaner and crisper
than some, with a beautifully aromatic nose that is
peach and citrus rather that the usual apricots. Some
‘New World’ Viognier can be somewhat fat
and clumsy; this on the other hand exhibits a steely
elegance and poise with a weight and ‘mouthfeel’
that make this a genuine alternative to Chardonnay.
We have long championed the virtues of this, the white
grape of Condrieu, and this wine vindicates us! |
