At the risk of the hugely impressive Viña
Tabalí overly dominating our Chilean selection,
I couldn’t help but include this elegantly restrained
yet expressive Sauvignon with its fresh lemony fruit
and lovely mineral element with a long, slightly grassy
dry finish. A combination of the local ‘Camanchaca’
fog descending from the Andes and blanketing the vineyards
coupled with cooling, maritime breezes makes this
an ideally cool climate for this grape. |
