Something of a legendary wine, the ‘Antiguas Reservas’ have been given a new lease
of life since wine making was transferred to their new, state-of-the-art winery
at Buin in the Maipo Valley. This has a delightfully complex, scented aroma of
cassis and mint followed by a big mouthful of lush, blackcurrant fruit with firm
tannins and a lively, juicy acidity, with a beautifully integrated French oak
coming through on the finish.
