An intensely deep purple coloured wine with substantial depth, this offers a classic
Maipo minty nose with a juicy, ripe blackcurrant fruit. There are blackcurrants
again on the palate with plenty of juicy fruit acidity, firm tannic grip and a
very definite smoky spiciness on the finish. This won the trophy for ‘Best Chilean
red blend under £10.00’ in the Decanter world wine awards for 2005.
