Drappier ‘Cuvée Spéciale’ Brut NV
Drappier enjoy a deservedly excellent reputation for the quality of their fizz for a variety of reasons; most notably, they only use juice from the first pressing. Over 80% of production is from their own vineyards with the bulk of ‘bought in’ grapes being Grand Cru Chardonnay. The wine is aged for 24 months prior to dégorgement and is Pinot Noir dominated (90%). This is on record as being the preferred Marque of Charles de Gaulle.
