De Venoge ‘Cordon Bleu’ Brut NV
A well-established house dating back to 1837 that has had many owners, notably
Joseph Henriot, Rémy-Cointreau and LVMH, but is now enjoying a new lease
of life as a member of the innovative BCC (Boizel Chanoine Champagne) group. The
Cordon Bleu has a ‘quaffing’, fruity style with good, lively attack
that quickly develops a creamy richness with a little bottle age. It is a blend
of 50% Pinot Noir with 25% each of Chardonnay & Pinot Meunier.
