Guy Bocard Bourgogne Chardonnay 2004
Some of you might remember the ‘Clos du Château du Meursault’ that we used to
list – Meursault in all but name. This excellent wine from Guy Bocard falls into
a similar camp; this is a deliciously full wine with an elegant creaminess on
the nose and just a hint of honey. The palate shows good weight and structure
with enough balancing acidity to make for a taut, well-knit mouthful with a richness
of fruit and good length.
