This is a well-made, nicely balanced Burgundy from the most consistent and reliable
Négociant in Beaune, and one that is still run by the Drouhin Family, although
they no longer actually own the business. This shows gently rounded Pinot character
and at the same time is fruit forward and accessible with an engaging, berry fruit
aroma and a soft, supple and juicy palate - good ‘house’ red Burgundy.
