‘Vieilles Vignes’ Régnié 2005
The most recently promoted of the Beaujolais Crus (1984) so its growers sometimes
feel that they have more to prove than the other 9 more ‘established’ Crus. This
lovely example has a robust and rounded cherry fruit with a typical Gamay aroma
of bubblegum with a hint of ripe banana and a silky mouthfeel.
