In addition to his existing 6ha in the Côte de Py and Grand Cras, proprietor Laurent
Guillet, has recently inherited a further 5ha of vines from his father which average
50 years of age, all in the highly regarded Côte de Py. Yields are low, fermentation
is in traditional lined concrete vats and bottling is under light filtration the
following spring. His potentially quite long-lived wines are wonderfully rich
and flavoursome with a lovely concentration.
