Patrice Ricard has been holding the reigns here for the last 10 years being ably
advised by œnologist Jean-Michel Lapalu, son of the owner, Claude. This estate
comprises some 43 ha at Bégadan in the northern Médoc, which are
planted to 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot with Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot
making up the balance. This lovely wine is given 12 months 'en barrique' 1/5th
of which are replaced annually.
