Fragrant and elegant in the classic Margaux style, this property is also managed
by Henri Duboscq as with the Ch. Lalande. 2002 is an increasingly well-regarded
vintage in Bordeaux, but offers a definite advantage in pricing as these lovely
wines for short to mid-term drinking have been hugely overshadowed by the more
showy and block-busting 2000's which were always going to be expensive even if
it hadn't been a great vintage! This shows a lovely delicacy of fragrance, followed
by ripe but elegant briar and blackcurrant fruits on the palate.
