Ch. Beau-Rivage Bordeaux Supérieur
2002/3
A more modern style of Claret with a marked emphasis on fruit retention; at first
glance this might appear pricey for such a relatively humble AOC, but it delivers
Margaux styled quality with a serious, grainy, cedar character underpinned with
cassis, liquorice, hickory and smokey notes. It is 60% Merlot, with the balance
equal parts of Petit Verdot, Cabernets Sauvignon and Franc and Malbec. Since 1995
it has been owned by the Nadalie family.
