Peter Lehmann Eden
Valley Riesling 2005
The Eden Valley is essentially a higher altitude, cooler climate extension of
the Barossa, and has consistently proved to be as well-suited to Riesling cultivation
as Clare Valley. Despite their stellar reputation for Shiraz, winemaker Andrew
Wigan is this years ‘White Winemaker of the Year’ at the IW&SC and his fabulous
dry Rieslings in particular have attracted praise and adulation from the likes
of Jancis Robinson MW, Tim Atkin MW and Matthew Jukes.
