Valley Chardonnay 2004
Beautifully rich and creamy and with a more polished, less ‘tangy’, oxidative
style than the Chardonnay from their Bendigo vineyards, the nose displays ripe
peach and citrus aromas combined with nutty oak. The palate is fine and intense
with creaminess from the lees contact and malolactic fermentation. This represents
the ‘total package’ for those of us that enjoy a high quality Chardonnay fruit
embellished with a toasty oakiness.
