This relatively recent release is a benchmark for all that is good about Barossa
Valley Shiraz; it is typically ‘massive’ yet balanced with a sensuous aroma of
prunes, chocolate and dusty oak and a dense, concentrated palate with opulent
plum fruits and fine grained tannins. This outstanding wine was matured in hogsheads
of French and American oak for 18 months and whilst gorgeous now, will keep for
at least another 5 years.
