This is a superb release from a single vineyard in the up-and-coming Heathcote
region of Victoria. Brown Brothers is one of the largest, family-owned wineries
in Australia, with an excellent reputation for both quality and innovation. Their
vineyards are all well-sited, usually at high altitude with the additional cooling
influence of Victoria’s southern coastal climate. This results in wines of elegance
and structure rather than ‘blockbusters’.
