Apparently, deep in Victoria, south east Australia
one will find the Everton Hills. Various members of
the Liverpool wine trade, past and present have claimed
responsibility for alerting ‘BB’ to the potential
of this wine in the Merseyside area, in truth, we
don’t really know who was originally responsible,
but this is a very decent effort, showing ripe red
berry fruit, violets, subtle oak and a slightly gamey
character. |
