Senetiner ‘Santa Isabel’ Mendoza Chardonnay/Viognier
2006
Yellow green color. Complex aromas on the noose from
the aromatic Viognier grapes. Tropical fruit, honey
and ripe apples on the palate. A well structured wine
with ripe fruit, yet elegance from balanced acidity.
Picking is entirely by hand and into small 300kg plastic
bins to ensure fruit arrives at the winery in perfect
condition. Maximum yield is 12 tonner per hectare,
with harvest carried out in late March. The wine does
not undergo malo-lactic fermentation. Filtered prior
to bottling. Excellent with grilled white meat and
fish.
