Deep dense purple in colour with a rich spicy blackcurrant
nose. Powerful brambly fruit mixed with prunes and
an elegant smoky character from the oak. Full, rich
and long. This is a wine that will age for a decade
or more.
'Cadus' is a highly complex wine for discerning palates
and represents the maximum expression of varietal
aged wines produced by Nieto y Senetiner. The vineyard
is situated in Lujan de Cuyo at the foot of The Andes,
where weather and soil conditions are exceptional
for high quality vineyard growing and premium quality
winemaking. Vines are trained using the Parral cuyano
and trellis systems and production is 5 tons per hectare.
